Hello, and thanks for taking a look at some of my work!My interest in photography was first spurred thanks to a childhood passion for herpetology and entomology. I spent a lot of free time during my middle and high school years prone on the ground, elbows half-buried in mud, with my camera lens pointed salamanders or frogs or grasshoppers. Many of the photos you'll see here are of those subjects exactly. A lot of my shots come from northern Illinois, where I grew up, but I've included images from all over the country in my portfolio.
